Privacy Notice

This is a simple website. It has no user accounts, contact form, newsletter, advertising or behavioural analytics. We do not use the site to build profiles of visitors or sell information about them.

This notice explains the limited circumstances in which personal data may nevertheless be processed when you visit the site.

The site does not ask you to provide your name, email address, telephone number, payment information or other account details.

We do not use Google Analytics or an equivalent analytics service, and we do not use advertising or tracking pixels.

Typefaces are hosted with the site rather than loaded from an external font provider.

When you visit any website, your browser must send some technical information so that the requested pages can be delivered. Our hosting provider may therefore process information such as your IP address, browser or device information, the page requested, and the date and time of the request.

This information may also appear in standard server or security logs. It is used only as necessary to deliver, secure and maintain the site. We do not use these logs to profile visitors or combine them with information from other sources.

Where data-protection law requires a lawful basis for this processing, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website.

Technical logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for operation, security and troubleshooting purposes, subject to the standard retention practices of our hosting provider.

We do not ourselves use cookies for advertising, analytics or behavioural tracking.

The Vimeo player described below is operated by a third party and may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for its operation.

Films on this site are hosted by Vimeo and displayed using Vimeo’s embedded player.

We enable Vimeo’s Do Not Track setting, which is intended to prevent the player from collecting session data and analytics. Vimeo states that certain cookies necessary for the secure operation of its player may still be used, and cookies already stored in your browser from previous visits to Vimeo may still be sent to Vimeo.

When the Vimeo player is loaded, your browser connects directly to Vimeo. Vimeo may therefore receive technical information such as your IP address and information sent by your browser. Vimeo processes that information in accordance with its own privacy practices, which we do not control.

This site contains links to services operated by other organisations, including Instagram and Facebook. Following one of those links takes you away from this site, and the privacy practices of that service then apply.

If you choose to contact us through one of our social-media accounts, we will receive the information you choose to send, together with information identifying your account. We use that information only to read and respond to your message and retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose.

We will update this notice if the way the site handles personal data changes. For example, we will update it before introducing features such as a contact form, mailing list or analytics service.
